A3908EEETR-T
Description
The A3908 is a low-voltage bidirectional DC motor driver with a typical input voltage range of 3 to 5.5 V and an output current up to 500 mA. Its unique full-bridge output integrates source-side linear operation, ensuring a constant voltage supply to the motor coil. The regulated output minimizes motor voltage variations caused by changes in I × RDS(on) and battery voltage tolerances.
The logic input pins can control the motor's rotation direction, braking and standby (<500 nA supply current) mode, and allow for optional PWM using sink current drivers. The internal protection circuits feature over-temperature shutdown, under-voltage lockout and cross-current (shoot-through) protection.
The A3908 is available in a 2 mm × 2 mm (nominal height 0.55 mm), 8-pin DFN package with an exposed thermal pad (package suffix EE). This small package is lead-free and the lead frame is 100% matte tin plated.
Robot actuators and pumps, portable printers/scanners, camera lenses/shutter control, battery-powered toys and games, low-noise test instrument systems
