Description
The A4956 is designed for pulse-width modulation (PWM) control of DC motors and can operate at 50 V, providing gate drivers for all n-channel external MOSFET bridges.
This product offers input terminals to control the speed and direction of the DC motor through externally applied PWM control signals. It adopts an internal synchronous rectification control circuit to reduce power consumption during PWM operation.
Internal current protection includes VDS protection, hysteresis over-temperature shutdown, VBB under-voltage monitoring and cross current protection.
The A4956 device is available in a low-profile 4x4 mm 20-lead QFN package (suffix "ES") and a 20-lead eTSSOP (suffix "LP"), both with exposed thermal pads.
